Kennedy Park

While a large portion of Kennedy Park residents were born in the United States, there are large Somali, Sudanese, and Cambodian communities in Kennedy Park. As of October 2011, there are 633 people residing in and near KP in 174 Public Housing units, 326 of which are under 20 years old (52%).

Kennedy Park is actually comprised of several adjacent sites including Kennedy Park, Bayside East, Bayside Terrace, and a few scattered sites. Formerly known as Bayside Park, renovations to transform the area into Kennedy Park were completed in 1965.
