The New Generation of Riverton Girls is a service organization started in 2011. The group is open to all girls between the ages of 13 and 18 who want to give back to their community and help change perceptions of new Americans in Portland.

Block PrintingIn collaboration with the NAACP, Bowdoin College, The Portland Museum of Art, and local artist Daniel Minter. Students were given the opportunity to tour two exhibits of african block printing and then create their own. |

Reading Days
Our good friends at the Maine Red Claws came to visit and read stories to us. Youth from the study center were thrilled to meet the players and hung on their every word! |
